    Hi Peter, Thanks for reply. Due to financial constraints I have decided to put Jag up for sale on eBay as don't have any more time or money to invest in it now. I've started the bids at scrap value so fingers crossed! Regards Si

    Hi all, I have spent over £1100 on my 2001 Jag S Type varying from heater control valve to tyres and suspension issues. That said I expected to be able to enjoy the vehicle for a while until disaster struck and the car is stuck in park at a friends house. The solenoid in the box was red hot but that's all I know. Scrap?
