    V8 cooling tower

    I am about to replace the cooling tower on a V8 4.0 engine with an aluminium upgrade. Can any body advise me on the use of a suitable gasket sealer. Should I use or not? The kit I bought does have a set of gaskets supplied.

    Hi Everyone, My names Mike and I am a Coventry kid...spiritual home of Jaguar. I have owned my 1998 Jaguar Sovereign LWB...is this a 308? for eight years now. I bought it to jot about in while my Ford Cougar was being repaired after an incident. Still got it; and the Ford. I just cannot bring myself to sell it on. I enter it in the Coventry Motor Festival which comes around August bank holiday. I have had one or two problems over the years but nothing which could not be remedied. I look forward to sharing information and passing on the benefit of my experiences if I can. Cheers.
