  1. I own a 2008 xkv8 the paintwork is bublbling in 2 places. A small patch about 1 inch square at the bottom of the drivers door and another smaller patch on the edge of the boot lid. What Is the best course of action? .It is my intention to run the car in summer only. Whilst the battery is trickle charging over the winter months do I need to dis-connect the battery from the car? I have only had the car since June 2014 but it has been well looked after by the previous 1 owner. It has done 67000 miles and has full Jag main dealer service history. This is my first convertible Jag although I have had MX5's before, however there is just no comparison whatsoever between the two makes. I have done over 2000 miles and according to the instruments on the car have been getting 26 mph despite driving it hard at times. The car is seriously quick and a wonderful drive. My intentions are to keep the XK until depreciation makes the F type affordable (5 years)?
  2. Hi I have recently bought an XK 4.2 convertible and only intend to use it during the summer months, e.g April to October. The remaining time it will be in a dry garage. Are there any problems associated with doing this? Does any one know what I need to do in order to do this Robert
