  1. It's sort of right... There are sections of road without speed limits, but they're becoming fewer and further between as the nanny state encroaches more into our daily lives.
  2. We've lived here since 1998 and would never consider moving back to the UK/Mainland/"Across" - it's a wonderful place to live.
  3. Well, posting the list didn't last... we're in Ramsey in the north of the Isle of Man - the road racing capital of the World (apparently), although I'm originally from Burnley, Lancs (I think that's two firsts for the club :)).
  4. Quite funny actually Peter...I was tanking over the mountain on the TT Course yesterday afternoon (it really is a comically fast car) and, as I passed a couple of parked Mark IIs and an XK I got the biggest smiles and waves from their drivers (who were outside their cars having a smoke). They were visitors to the island (based on their UK plates) but that's never happened to me before, when I've owned lesser marques. Made me feel quite special :)

  6. Hi all, just a quick "hi" from the Isle of Man and the proud owner of a gorgeous 2004 S-type R
  7. Images added to a gallery album owned by CJW in Members Gallery
Newly purchased pride and joy. The only one on the Isle of Man.
