You will all be fed up with me soon, I have just replaced front brake discs and pads on my new X Type diesel S with ease and moved onto the rears and !!!!!!!!!!! Disc replaced tried to push back calliper piston NOT A CHANCE i can twist it out but won't go in have released nipple still no joy tried a push in tool N`O CHANCE tried a bar NO WAY What do i do now and no the hand brake is not on my knuckles are bleeding my knees are sore and my head hurts ADVICE PLEASE

battery seems fine just occasionally fails to engage and grinds but then usually catches second time and spins no problem

OK I have just bought a 2003 diesel Sport and have a few issues i am sure someone can help me with 1 speedo only works occasionally and then slowly drops to 0mph everything else seems to work 2 The temp gauge only reaches about 1/4 even in good weather 3 Starter motor occasionally fails to engage but then works fine Any advice would be awesome car has done 83000 cheers Craig

Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen I have just bought an X type Diesel Sport 2003 with a catalogue of issues I am slowly conquering. This is going to replace my Rover 75 connosoire diesel. By the look of it you will be hearing from me asking advice I am in the Cynon Valley S Wales so if anyone else out there in the area would love to hear from you cheers

New to Group just picked up a 2003 X type diesel sport with parking sensors not connected to box in boot. Have plugged it in and get a long beep when i put into reverse but sensors don't sense anything. light above head lights up but again does not sense anything any ideas that an idiot can try lol cheers
