Thank you all for your replies.. I won't be using any helfrauds (spelt correct!) Or any formula one places and the like due to knowing their work! I'm after a independant who uses OEM without the hour charge! Even a tech that can fit parts I will supply is ideal. Would never use formula 1 centres in a million years or anything like them..

Ill start by saying a BIG hello to all fellow X Type owners! Im looking for a decent service centre around the Maldon district...Someone whom I can trust.... Not to use Eurocarparts etc for parts and who has genuine knowledge and equipment.... I have rang Essex Ford, but prices are on the steep side (£150 for a oil change? Come on!) I thought of also using Chelmsford Carriage Company but they are a bosch centre and don't know if Jag use bosch at a main stealers, so can anyone enlighten me? I have a X type 2.1v6.... Cheers!!
