Slightly off topic here, seen a nice 2.5 v6 sport however to my dispaointment, no cruise, how easy is it to retro fit ? cheers

anyone ? also - found a 05 plate 2.1v6 se with 25000 miles on it, fsh, salesman cant go any lower than £4500, still to expensive ?

Hi all, I would like peoples opinions on the 2.1 v6 x type, I know that no one buys a v6 for the fuel economy and ideally I would like an AWD but if a nice example 2.1 comes up then is it worth going for ? A jag specialist told me the 2.1 clearly isnt the fastest choice but far less to go wrong than with a AWD or a diesel, all opinions welcome cheers

hi, thanks for the reply, im taking my time as there are alot out there that are a "mess", i dont do alot of miles so i should take into account the petrol models, i was told to steer clear of the 2.1 v6 as the 2.5 4x4 offers slightly better consumption

hi, i seen a 2007 2.0d x type tonight that really looked the part...it has full service history but im being put of by the fact its done 130k miles, im unsure whether its a sport or an se model as its still rather well equiped apart from heated seats, reverse sensors, headlight wash and sat nav. should i be put of by that millage cheers

does anyone have anything to say about the 2.1 v6 ? i done an insurance qoute earlier on a 2.5 se that i looked at and cost alot more compared to a previous qoute that i got for a 2.1 v6 thanks

hi there, joined the forum to ask a few questions as im looking to buy a petrol x type, i dont do alot of miles as i have a van for work and dont feel the need for a diesel anymore, i have seen a couple of nice 2.0 v6 se models but havent been quick enough to get to the forecourt for a look, looking for something around 05/06, questions - is there much difference between consumption between the 2.0 and 2.5 models, wondereing if its worth keeping options open for both, which is more reliable ? are they prone to any nasty expensive faults ? cheers
