  1. I should be able to get it done through the mechanics at work. I will try and avoid the expensive dealer costs. It's not worth it on a car of this value.
  2. Great Stuff, I will put that on the priority list. Any thoughts on what I should expect to pay?
  3. Hi TJK, She drives a treat. Starts first time and settles down quickly. Pulls well and will happily explore the rev range in sport mode. Handles really well, feels planted. Engine bay is immaculate. It doesn't look like it should have done 200,000+ miles. Bodywork is very tidy for it's age. Practically it feels fantastic, it's only the shadowy servicing history that makes me have any doubts. I kinda feel i'll just keep it as long as it runs well. Ignorance is bliss?
  4. Hi Trevor, Thanks You have highlighted the majority of my problem, no servicing book, very limited servicing paperwork. It was a PX to clear. I know that it had new window wipers :/ I will check the oil filler cap in the morning. I am flying blind so to speak.
  5. Hi, I find myself in the Jaguar owners world and so far so very good. I bought a 2002 2.5 V6 Auto for £600. I was sceptical at first but thought it was worth a gamble. I have only had it a week and it has covered 1000 miles on top of it's high 207,000 miles. Everything looks well cared for but I'd like to check it over and would welcome any areas to start looking. The service history is shall we say 'non-existant' so I'm in the dark, so far it's paying for itself in smiles and distance covered but I'm starting to like it so wouldn't mind preserving our relationship a while longer.
