I have a pair of unused Front discs for a 2.7D Jaguar 'S' type. These discs were purchased from David Manners (Car SOS fame) about three years ago and never fitted as I sold the car. Vented front discs 326mm diameter which I believe will fit early XF models with 2.7D engine. £35, local delivery possible. Liverpool area.

Mtec are replacing the discs so I can only try that. Have had all suspension investigated and there is no apparent wear or play. Will comment further after fitting new discs.

Hi, I fitted new Mtec discs about 3000 miles ago and now they are developing a really bad shudder. MOT january with no problems or advisories so a wondering if ther is a Jaguar problem I don't know about or is it just the discs failing?

I reverse onto my drive and leave the car pointing up at the front by about 15 degrees. When it rains heavily the dreaded performance message illuminates until the engine has been at operating temp for 20 minutes or so. What am I drowning and how do I stop it permanently, so please no comments about parking it the other way....
