Hi Paddy, Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure if you had the same problem. My car has just a Radio/CD and no SatNav. I was driving along one day listening to the radio when it changed channel and since then none of the buttons on the unit or on steering column are working... It seems from your message that you had a problem with the SatNav/CD player only. Thanks again, Kevin

I have 2004 S-type and it has exactly the same fault. The volume control is the only thing that responds so I'm stuck with one radio channel. Did you ever get the problem resolved?
