can someone help please, im told exhaust sensor needs changing, no warning light ect just when cold stutters a tad under load until warm then perfect. which sensor should i change its x type 2.0 v6, one at back or front , one at back im told has heater , should i try this one 1st. anyone bought aftrer market lambda sensors off e bay seem so much cheaper and marry up to the dealer part numbers ? help

hello, i have just purchased a 2.0 v6 2003 x type perfect apart from when its cold i get a tiny missfire when i accelarate noticably there are no warning lights on i have spoken to the previous owner who said it cut out once and he went to a jag specialist who said both exhaust sensors need replacing, after the initial annoyance runs perfect starts brilliant every time. some suggested putting cataclean in the car !!!!!! any suggestions please confused here i would have fault a sensor and not both and if no lights come on the dash , would it come on as a fault code ? could be a ploy for a large garage bill Help please
