Let's hope so, I do have a little doubt about the gearbox but if there are any problems the seller didn't need to tell me about the work done. It was the first car I tested and fell in love with it straight away. It pulls well and just feels like a realy nice place to be.

I've just bought an XF and I'm waiting to pick it up at the end of the month. It's a 2008 Premium Luxury with 118,000 miles in Indigo Metallic with Ivory leather and grey carpets. It has full JSH. The cam belt was changed 12 months ago and it had a recon gearbox 8 months ago (there's still 4 months warranty on it). It took a lot of haggling but I got it for £9,000 I think I did ok when you see what they're going for). I will post some piccys when I get it. No doubt I will be asking some very obvious questions but I look forward to chatting to you all and hopefully enjoying a bit of banter. Regards, Gary
