Hi all, finally got around to sorting the issue out, however another door Rear offside had started to play up by not locking and so drained the battery as i had not noticed. anyway, my son in law had a look, got the error codes and had them looked at. advice was to change the lock module at £110 +Vat each. All door locks are now working as they should.
  2. Hi all, I bought a USB from Ebay seller hefaystos123 for £87.50 and installed it to update the maps, Took about 3 hours and all done. A lot cheaper than buying from Jag at £199.

Afraid not Oldjaman, been given a list of 4 bits by Jaguar which will cost approx 750£ which is inclusive of 3 hours labour. Very expensive indeed, so will keep a look out on ebay etc. was it easy to fit.

New problems, the front passenger door will not unlock using the key fob or if any other door is unlocked using the key-less method or via the unlock button on the dash, all other doors will unlock. It will unlock if you have the fob and open the door from the outside. Once open and then shut, will auto lock. However if you then stop to pick up a passenger you have to lean over to pull the handle as it will not unlock from the dash button. The drivers door on the other hand will unlock etc apart from you cannot touch the lock sensor on the door handle to lock. So you have to use another door or key fob. Any advice or recommendations?
  7. Had the DAB radio installed into my XJ, works a treat and well worth the £110 fully installed by Kings Audio Centre in Leicester.
  8. Has anyone had their sat nav maps updated on a 2010 Jaguar XJ? i believe that i will need the USB version? Has anyone purchased this, did it work and how long did it take to update please?
