    Humming noise

    hi all just noticed a slight humming noise when I accelerate hard in my Jaguar, it's a 2.5 v6 se auto on a 55 plate, it still changes gear very smoothly with no clunks or other strange noises just seems to hum, do you think it could do with a gearbox oil and filter change I havnt had the car very long roughly 2 months it does have full service history and it is on 105000 miles, any help would be much appreciated Regards Chris

    hi thought I'd pop in and say hello, I've a 55 plate x type 2.5 se estate auto not my first jaguar I did own a x300 a few years ago but it was a bit to big for my wife so went to a mondeo St but now I'm back in a jaguar
