Can any one tell me where the fuse for the alarm is? It's not working so need to check the fuse

Hi All I've got an 01 x type sport I can lock the doors with the remote key but the indicators don't flash and there's no beep from the alarm, does any one know what the problem could be? I'm hopping it will be just the fuse, does any one know where I can find the fuse? Cheers lads

Hi all, I've got a 2001 x type does any one know what the part number is for the wiring harness in the front doors? I want the one that has the door light in it

This isn't going to be as easy as i thought the electrics to the door are through 2 connectors, I've got my vault meter out to find power in the original plugs from the door harness but i need to be into the interior light circuit, is there a way through the door into the cabin? I'm a bit stumped

Hi All I'm fitting projector puddle lights in the front doors of my 01 x type, I'm going to piggy back the wires to the lights in the foot well as they operate when the doors open, question is, what's the best way to feed the wires through the rubber boot between the door and wing? If any one has done it or knows how to do it any advice would be much appreciated

Frustrating isn't itI dre lol, I've been all over the engine and mine seems to be coming from the centre, rear of the cylinder head, from what I have researched it could be a small exhaust manifold blow, (I'm not convinced of that by the way it sounds) or an injector seal in the fuel rail, I think my next step will be to have a look at them, if I find any thing i will let you know

The re circulation door is working fine, hmmmm

Hi all My x type windscreen mists up slightly I've taken out the pollen filter and looked for the re circulation door like every one sais, but on looking inside iIcan't see any door? I can see straight through to the fan? , does that mean that the Re circulation door is OK,? If it is does any one know what else it could be?

Hi all I've got a 2.5 v6 x type and would like to put she'll v power petrol in it, does any one here use it? If so is it worth trying?

Thanks for the advice guys, the oil was changed a 1000 miles ago and the oil is as clean as a whistle, I just don't know for sure if it's the correct oil, I'm hopping it will cure the ticking sound
