  1. I can see the brightness settings in the menu but Twilight is greyed out. I can manually alter the settings, but only for Night or Day and in my experience there are occasions when neither are suitable, hence the Twilight would have been useful. I heard that the 2012 disc alters the Jaguar logo screen to black rather than green, so I wondered if it also improved any of the other screens? I find the white screen too much of a distraction, due to the inability to select Twilight, as above. My Tom Tom is a better tool graphically, but takes too long to get a GPS fix compared to the Jaguar which is 'always on' and gets a fix immediately. Like you, I always carrry a map too as it gives a better idea of where you are in the world in relation to where you are going.
  2. ....you can send me one if you like? ;)
  3. Hi chaps, I'm new to the forum but looking to upgrade my satnav to 2012 from 2005. Apart from the updated road maps, are there any improvements to the look of the screen? Does it happen to change any of the other screens, such as the audio screen...I really don't like the white background/black icons. In addition, can anyone tell me why I can't choose a twilight setting wihin the menu? I can only choose daytime or night, which is not ideal during dusk as the screen is too dim. Thanks.
