Hi, Complete newbie to this forum. I bought my X-type estate around 4 months ago. It's been fine until recently. When I accelerate there is very little power and the car doesn't want to go then all of a sudden it sets off. This had happened a couple of times over the last week until the weekend when I literally had no power. I had to travel around a mile to my house and it was painful as I just had to keep pumping the accelerator just to keep the car going. While this was happening no lights lit up on the dash. I have read a couple of forums who had a similar problem but their glow plug light lit up and went into 'limp mode'. I don't think this is what mine is doing. If anyone has any suggestions out there I would be grateful for the advice. Thanks Gary.
