thanks guys, I was thinking along these lines, I have seen video on youtube, but cant seem to locate the dccv on my car, I wil have another look today. I read on another post somewhere that if I disconnect the electrical connection to the dccv, it will stay open, hence constant hot air, be better than cold air at this time of year, until I get it sorted

hi, I am new to this forum and hoping to find some help. my 55 plate S type 2.7 diesel has a heater problem, it only blows cold air. there are no air locks and the cooling system works correctly. any help/advice would be appreciated, I am reasonably competent at servicing and repairing most issues
