  1. I have to say that i don't agree with being what the XJ should be like... the XJ is a luxury / executive saloon car aimed mostly at corporate owners or chauffeur style drivers, it is meant to be (as described above) a 'statesman' like car that could easily transport PM's and Ministers around... that's not to say that a car like that pictured wouldn't have a market alongside the current line-up....
  2. not long joined and not long ago purchased my first Jaguar in the form of a 2010 XJ. She's a 'working gal' in that I'll be using her for chauffeur work - well, that's what I've told the wife! 75% mine, 25% business! Anyway - I have an intermittent fault with the rear drivers side electric window - in that it either works or doesn't! It doesn't seem to follow any pattern as to why it will or won't so before I go dis-assembling the door panel and trying to check switches & wiring, etc I just wondered if anyone has any pointers as to where I could find possible faults and/or what areas I should concentrate on... many thanks in advance.
  3. First time Jaguar owner with 2010 XJ 3.0 V6D and loving every second driving her (has to be a 'she' right?). Only put her into 'S' once so far - need drier and better roads than I have round me (and no cameras!) - think 'The Flag' might have to wait for the summer and some straight roads so I get to enjoy her at her best. Looking forward to reading and sharing experiences of others owners across the marque...
