    yes, tried that. I also should mention that the display only lights up about half as bright as the the climate control display.

    Just picked up a 2003 S-Type 3.0 with 114,000 miles in the USA with a few issues. My concern today is about the stereo. It does not have the Navigation but does have the CD and phone. The stereo comes on and tunes in stations but no sound comes from the speakers. Any ideas?
