I,ve had the car now for a week and a half. So far having covered around 400 miles. It's early days however I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT :) This is the first time i've ever bought a car without having seen it or had a test drive first :D Main things i've noticed so far are the smooth ride, at least compared to my 2.0 tdi golf. Much kinder over the pot holed roads we have to endure these days. Averaging 52 mpg although I drive like a granny these days because I just don't care. Interesting you mention the headlights, all I can say is they are way brighter than the Golf and I love the way they automatically level themselves when first switched on. I haven't found anything that isn't working as yet, even the dab radio works a treat although I believe i'm in a good reception area. One thing i was disapointed about was I was told the bluetooth wouldn't stream from the mobile or ipod etc. So to get round this I had the garage fit a Parrot mki9200. This is an excellent bit of kit which will stream from any bluetooth device also you can physically connect any device to it and it charges at the same time.

Hi everyone, I'm in the process of buying a 2009 JAGUAR - X-TYPE DIESEL SALOON (2.2d SE 4dr). I fell in love with it as soon as i saw it. Now i've done a little more research ( should have done this before buying :-)i,m wondering whether ive done the right thing. It seems there are quite a few people slagging off this particular jag model. Any way it comes with a years warranty so hopefully any probs will be ironed out early doors.
