Thanks all for your replies, car is rust free from what I can see owner was the one to make a point of showing me the sills this explains why, car has just had a full service and only advisory on last mot in December was chip in windscreen which has already been replaced I did look in the boot which don't look like it's ever been used and pull all the floor out to be greated with a brand new spare tyre, and after all the rain we have had this week just gone didn't feel any damp so I guess this is a good sign. Will check under car when finally bought it at brake lines thanks for that tip. Although it's not jaguar service history it has been maintained well with regular services. Sounds promising then and thanks for the comments again Karl

Hi all about to buy my first Jaguar a 1999 S-Type 3.0l V6. It's covered 90'000 miles is there anything I should be aware off, anything to look out for. It a ex wedding car and from what I can see from receipts and history it's been looked after any feedback good and bad appreciated. Thanks you Karl
