Hi, I've had my X-type sovereign 3l for a month now and I'm really enjoying it. It is far and a way the best car I've ever owned, my daily driver is a Merc Sprinter so all the leather/wood/luxury is a real treat. I have cleaned the car more in the one month than I have the van in 6 years! So far, I have had the headlamp squirter cover fall off, so I replaced it and the little cruciforms with new ones in polypropylene ones. So that is sorted. I had a flat tyre, fortunately on my driveway as the wheels were all stuck to the hubs but I've sorted that with WD40 and copper grease. I also bought another alloy wheel on eBay to replace the spacesaver wheel and am yet to put a new tyre on it. Plus new wheel nuts as several were u/s after removal. One of the many good things on the car is the sound system, really enjoying the cd auto changer but looking to install a lead to an iPod. Anyone know if that's possible, or who does it?
