Electric front seat bolster

Featured Replies

Hi,

I've recently picked up my first Jaguar - 2009 2.2 x-type estate and I love it. However, there is a switch to operate the seat bolsters on both the driver and front passenger seats. On each of the seats, the electric switch will "inflate" the bolster, but when I press it to retract the bolster, it does nothing. This is the case on both the driver and passenger seats - it seems strange that I appear to have the same problem on both seats, (i'm sort of hoping that this is down to my unfamiliarity with the car i'm missing something pretty basic), can anyone point me in the right direction.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

hi kevin

when you want to retract the bolster you have to hold  the switch for what seems to be a long time

its very slow best wishes
