From the article:

With just 281 units ever made, the rare mid-engined supercar built by Jaguar in the early 90s comes powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, and its 542 horsepower is capable of propelling the svelte feline to a top speed of 217 mph. That made it the fastest car on the road (for a couple of years at least). But with models in near-new condition fetching around $200,000 in auction, we have no idea why this badly damaged example is being priced so high.
