Fog Lights

Featured Replies

Hi,

before I start dismantling under tray on my 2009 X Type does anybody know if you can get access to Foglights via wheel arch covers removal ?

Andy

Hi Andy, not owning an X-Type I cannot answer your question however, if its anything like the XKR then you can. By taking the relevant wheel off and undoing a few self tapping screws you can pull the wheel arch liner back to gain access

Thanks Kenny,

Will have a look when I get a dry day, and will post results

Easy peasy just removed wheel, then 3 fastenings on wheel arch, pulled back to access fog lights, two torx screws and fogs out, and new LED,s in, less than hour, bit fiddly on drivers side but job done.

What led's did you fit? I have 9 in mine but may upgrade.

Andy

I have some 15 leds that I'm going to upgrade to but it means butchering a set of fog lights I have.

Are you using them as fogs or as daytime running lights?
