Hi guys, I have an S type 06 with a cd auto changer in the boot. My problem is that the cd changer will not open, I have tried it with the ignition on and off but still will not open. There is a small button in the bottom left hand corner of the changer, when I press it nothing happens only some buzzing sounds. On the dash it just says error. Has any one else had this problem and if so how did they solve it. J.

not clear enough.

What do you mean, it won't eject the cartridge or the door is jammed shut?

yes it wont eject the cartridge.

From what I gather it's either a cd stuck or a microswitch , the only way that I know of is to remove whole changer from car and dismantle it to get at the stuck bit. Hopefully someone else might know an easier way, can you see inside enough when the door is open to see anything?

No I cant see anything obvious but I will do as you suggest GaryE. Thank you for your help.
