hi, I have just bought a 2007 2litre diesel x type jag with 50,000 miles on the clock it looks as if its been very well looked after, the problem is when I start it from cold, it starts as it should but the temp gauge only goes to the blue cold part  and when it is warmed up and if I switch it off then switch it back on it stays in the blue part and then the glow plug warning light flashes on and off, if I then drive the car for a couple of miles stop  turn off the engine for a minute or so it starts fine and the glow plug light goes off and the temp gauge works as it should I would be grateful for any advice. cheers
