Rear doors not locking - weak battery ??

Featured Replies

.. hi folks, any help / advise needed please

just changed battery on my smart key and also yesterday car was unlocked for about 3-4 hours as I was giving it a deep clean without stripping anything etc .. When u locked the car both of my rear doors failed to lock on me .. I can manually lock them but smart key isn’t moving the latch fully to lock position -got me thinking may be my battery ran out or got weak and any other issue  ?

I have been reading on few forums and different pages that many got it sorted through software update / reboot etc without the need to actually replace the door latches ! Any advise / suggestion if any of you have done it in similar way ?

Thanks a lot in advance folks - I have found many genuine and genius minds sitting here 🙏🏼🙏🏼
