Premium Sound System

Featured Replies

I have a strange problem with the Premium Sound System in my 2006 X-type 3.0 Sport. The left hand door speakers, front and back door, have stopped working. Strangely, the tweeters are working normally. The wiring diagram shows them going directly back to the power amp. in the boot. I assumed the amp. had packed up so got another on Ebay but the problem persists! Now have two power amps!!

I was going to take a door card off to test the speakers but what is the chance of the front and back blowing at the same time??

The problem is with radio and CD player and my phone Bluetooth can't be heard (I assume it feeds to the front left speaker)

Any car audio/HiFi guru out there who can give me any pointers?
