Hi folks

I’m picking up my new (to me)  S3 XJ6 at the end of the week. I owned a 1983 XJS V12 HE in the mid 80’s and travelled 30k miles in it over 18 glorious months of ownership. The fuel costs almost bankrupted me but it ran faultlessly throughout.

I’ve yearned for an XJ saloon ever since so I’m incredibly excited. I thought about going for the V12 but decided to be a little sensible and plump for the XK 4.2.

I’ll be interested in whether you think I’ve made the right decision but also, thinking ahead, any recommendations of a good Jaguar specialist in the Wirral/Merseyside/Cheshire area.

I’ll report back!

Mark

Hi Mark....welcome to the Club

I owned and worked on a lot of XJ s3 (both 6 and 12 cylinders) in the past and always have fond memories of them.

Good to have you onboard and enjoy the Jag!
