Permanent Live feed for Parking Sentry on Dash Cam

Featured Replies

I have purchased a Vantrue X1 Dash Cam which has a parking sentry to record any activity whilst your car is parked.    My car is a 2014 64plate Jaguar XF.    I bought a hard wiring kit and got my garage to fit the Dash Cam.     The Garage said they could not find a live feed and simply arranged for the power to come from a cigar socket.     This means that, after about, five minutes, the power shuts down and the parking sensor is no longer operative.     Has anyone any idea how to get over this problem?

Regards

Roboman

Good day

i had the same experience with Vantrue dashcam, i this is not the only problem you may face ! , after one week the dashcam started to lag and keep restart, i return it back to the seller and got another brand

i is the only safe connection to connect in cigarettes lighter fuse in internal fuse box

try to change the dashcam with one with internal battery to remain working even the car power off , also to keep car battery safe

this is my experience
