Rear-Door showing open and alarms going off

Hi guys;

I registered to seek advice on this problem and got some really accurate feedback earlier which was excellent thank you.

Not looking forward to the prospect of a couple of hundred quid and not having the capability myself; at least I seem to know what the issue is. Any cheap tips around the issue would be greatly appreciated though.

Should have worked harded at school I reckon 🤣

Hi Kevin....welcome to the Club!

I would suggest looking at the door sensor/door latch which is not registering the door as being closed.
Check also the wiring inside the rubber gaiter between the door and pillar
