Power steering

Hi, first post and new to owning a jag. I have a 2006 xtype 2.2 diesel, had a slight whine from the steering which is slowly getting worse. I replaced the fluid which was black when it came out, however this morning there is a small puddle on the drive. The underneath of the car looks wet and it’s power steering fluid. The power steering is working fine but the whine is intermittent , some days worse than others and can’t see much difference in the level in the reservoir , any pointers
