I'm new to jags..I've long had my eye on an XK (or possibly the older version XK8), convertible. This will be car number 35 in my 34 years of driving and will likely be used for lots of short journeys, pootling around, as we have 2 other cars already.

-= Do you have a guide for people like me that know diddly squat about what to look for when buying one of the above? ..My budget (I usually buy convertibles in the Winter when prices are lower), will be 10-15k

Xk8 rust can be an issue however £15k should get you a good example
