Hi, could anyone please explain in layman terms the reason for a P2049 error - OBD Code P2049 - Reductant Injection Valve Circuit High Bank 1 Unit 1

I’ve  managed to clear the light with a code unit so hopefully will stay off .

Hi, did this fault stay off or was there further issues? Same code has come up for me along with P026A charge air cooler below efficiency threshold. thanks

Hi, if I remember right it was an adblu issue , electrical connection . It kept coming on so took it to a specialist workshop that fixed it and never came back. 
On a different note, soon later I had a bigger issue regarding the steering …don’t go through any standing water that’s more than a few inches deep. Took the steering rack out , cost 3k and without the car for 8 weeks ….long storyHi, if I remember right it was an adblu issue , electrical connection .
