Trouble having Stage 1 Remap.

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Had a company called Ruby Tune (well known company with good rep in my area), out today to do a Stage 1 remap and Egr delete on my 2 litre Se05 Reg, he said he had trouble communicating with Ecu and something about drive cycles.

He couldn't do the remap as it will need to be opened up and booted and they do not do that.

I'm gutted it can not be done as I have heard so many Jag and Ford owners say how they benefit from a remap.

Has anyone had this?, if so how did you get the remap done?

Thanks for any help.

Dave.

Weirdly after he left I drove her only to find the Ac on full with temp up to mid 20's, I don't use Ac and temp is always Low or 17, also the reversing sensors have suddenly started working, they had never worked since owning it and last owner said they suddenly stopped,
