Jaguar 2.2 XF R-Sport stuck in gear

Hi First Post...

Can anyone help, I have a Jaguar XF R-Sport automatic , I selected Drive and started to drive out of my driveway, the engine raced loudly and failed to move up the gears for several seconds before doing so.

The following day I drove out of my driveway without issues, I drove about one mile and realised I had forgotten something, on approach to a mini roundabout I braked to turn back, when I tried to accelerate again it raced very loudly and it would not advance to the next gear for several seconds.

Can anyone help or advise.
