Noise from my clutch

Hi everyone, Les here., a new Member.

Driving through The Lanes' (in Brighton) recently I noticed a rattling type noise every time I pressed the clutch down, move from say, 2nd to 1st, let the clutch out and the noise goes away. Come to a stop for passers-by, press the clutch down again and hey presto, the rattling is back, let it out again, move forward and it goes.

If I have to sit idling at a T Junction or some-such then the noise keeps going for as long as the clutch is pressed down and then goes away as soon as I release the pedal and move forward.

Sounds likely Clutch release bearing
