Jag xkr 2007 zero compression in 2 cylinders. Do I scrap it?

Featured Replies

Hi all. Had my 2007 jag xkr for around a year now with no problems. All of a sudden it stops and is misfiring. Two garages have now said that cylinders 2 and 8 have zero compresssion. The last garage said to scrap it as it’s not worth the repair. I’m obviously gutted and angry. Anyone got experience with this or advice-apart from scrap it? New engine? Sell it?

any advice welcome. Cheers, Adrian

Strangely, your symptoms are practically mirrored in a post in the XK Section, see the post in the X-100 section of the XK Club.
