Jaguar XF radio frequency limits

Hi.

I have purchased a 2011 Jaguar XF that was originally supplied to Japan.

It is a first class low mileage example that fulfils all my needs except that the radio is limited to the Japanese frequency band.  

I thought that an easy solution would be to replace the radio with a used UK supplied set from a parts recycler.  Epic failure!  I now understand that the hardware is capable of receiving UK frequencies but is limited by software.

Can anyone suggest where I might look for a solution?  Jaguar dealers do not seem to be very interested, it seems.
