Reading in conjunction with your other post regarding the radiator fan running continuously, it sounds as though you have a sensor problem somewhere in the cooling circuit. Start by checking the level sensor in the expansion tank.

Other possibilities are there is air in the cooling system, or the cooling galleries are restricted due to incorrect antifreeze mixture or sludge. Has there been any work carried out on the cooling system in the recent past?

might be worth checking for air bubbles in the system. sometimes that can trigger warnings.
