Jaguar XJ V6 diesel Portfolio

Featured Replies

Hi  I am Tim and have just joined.

I have a Jaguar XJ V6 Diesel Portfolio - 2011

I was wondering if anyone could help or advise.  I  have had the car approximately 6 months ago.  Someone pointed out to me that my brake light on the rear drivers side was not working. The indicator and the side light at the top a small strip was working, but the brake and side lights were not working.  A local mechanic looked at it and said that the light unit was half full of water.  I took it off and drilled 2 small holes at the bottom to drain it, but unfortunately the brake and side lights are not working, just the indicator and a strip of the side light.  Is it possible to get this repaired.  I live in North Wales, Abergele so somewhere in the area would be good.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Tim
