Hello All, thanks for letting me join the club.  Can anyone advise on the following problem.

The bonding holding the rear window to the soft top on my Jag XK has failed causing the window to fall inwards.  I guess it must be caused by the intense heat over the last couple of weeks.  Also, it is a 2008 model.  Can anyone recommend a ‘specialist’ in the Hertfordshire/Cambridgeshire/Bedfordshire area that could fix it, please?  My local garage can’t help me.  Thanks

This is a known but not common issue. The hood can be resealed, after suitable cleaning of the old adhesive with Welcon surface cleaner, by using a glue called Teromix 6700.
