Rear Door Not Unlocking with Remote Control

2005 UK RHD Jaguar X-Type 3.0 V6 Sport Premium Estate Petrol manual (now imported into Spain with Spanish registration).

 

Two issues with door locks that may be co-incidental or linked in some way.

  1. Rear passenger door behind the UK RHD driver failing to unlock every time when using the remote control but unlocks OK when using the internal door lock handle. All three other doors unlock normally when using the remote control.
  2. Front driver´s door on the UK RHD side fails to unlock occasionally and only unlocks when the engine is turned off, the key removed and the car doors unlocked with the remote control from inside the car.

Does anyone know how to resolve Issue 1, which I need to sort out before the next Spanish ITV (MOT) Test?
