Hello

I have a 1997 XK8.  Last year it passed its MOT with no advisories.  This year it has failed with major urgent issues including work requiring sub frame removal to deal with some holes.  I cannot understand how none of this was picked up last year and how on earth can it go from passed MOT no advisories, to a huge failure in one year?!

Anyway, I've been advised that the repairs needed will be more than the value of the car.     It's such a gorgeous looking car and so I'm really sad about it.

What's the best thing to do with it? Scrap it, or hope that an enthusiast would give me a bit more for it and do the work themselves?

I'd be so grateful for advice.
