Can anyone tell me where the outside temperature sensor is fitted please and how to get to it?

I think mine has come adrift as the outside temp reads anything up to 38 degrees, even when it is way below freezing. I assume it has moved and found its way into a hotter location in the engine bay somewhere??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks guys
