CD changer problem

Featured Replies

Hi, I am a new jaguar owner and loving every second of it, driving around with a smile on my face. I have a problem with my cd changer, error code E-01 has come up and I can not now remove my cd`s. Thought it might be a fuse problem but don`t know which fuse. Can any one help me. Thanks. Justin

Hi Justin,

Welcome to the forum and Jag ownership. hope to see some pictures posted sometime.

Re E-01, what I've read in other forums suggests there is a disc stuck in the mechanism, the fix is to remove the unit and open the cover revealing the mechanism inside.  Where the casette is already out may suggest there is a disc on the playing holder.  It is also recommended to give the working parts a clean and a light smear of white or silicone grease.

Failing that you may have to source a replacement.  Keep us informed how you get on.

Best regards,

Dave
