Can anyone help. I have a 2.7 diesel s-type.

About a month ago it cut out just after starting. After trying it a few times it started and then ran without issue.

Two weeks ago it cut out again. I could not get it started. The AA recovered it after diagnosing fuel starvation. It was taken to a garage and I was told it was an earth wire failure.

Its has happened again two weeks later. Same fuel starvation and pump not actuating.

I can't accept the earth wire has broken again. Could it be an intermittent fault?

Is this a common fault?. Does anyone know the probable cause?
