I wonder what exactly is in there that makes the petrol one so much more expensive. I didn't see it for cheaper than that anywhere (new). XTypeParts appears to have them in used condition, however, in light of recent information I would not order anything from them.

What is a Map sensor? Will this cure my problem. Sat nav disc in it's home in the boot system telling me no map disc installed.

Different MAP sensor David. Unfortunately this one will not help with your fault.

Is the disc the correct way round when inserted?

Maybe worth cleaning it as well

Ye, writing to the top. Putting new disc's and pad's all round at the moment but I will give the disc a good clean and hoover the dust out of the system  Thanks.
